LED FLASHER CANS: We offer 2 styles of the 3 pin 12v led flasher cans, difference between the 2 styles is the
pos and neg connections are opposite from each other, please inspect your original flasher can before making
purchase or call us for assistance in choosing the correct flasher for your application, for replacement of a
standard 2 pin flasher can you then can use either and simply the E terminal must connect to body earth of
vehicle .
LED flasher cans are time sensitive not load sensitive like common flasher cans, this enables a correct flash rate
of 60-120 flashes per minutes which is an australian standard for indicator flash rate, you can have
0.2amp-20amp load meaning you can have all leds, all standard globes or a mixture and this will not effect the
flash rate speed or operation of the led flasher can where as normally what you will find if using a conventional
electronic flasher can is a rapid flash when using leds due to leds low power consumption.
Load Resistors: are used when applying leds to vehicle and the vehicle has a globe out warning system or
fitment of leds has effected the operation of cruise control also commonly used if vehicles which have a odd style
flasher can such as having more than 3 pins,,,,,Load resistors are to be connected in parallel meaning for eg a
globe has 1 pos and 1 neg feed, the load resistor has 2 wires, these wires you connect 1 to the pos wire going
to globe and other wire to earth, this will act as a load the same as a conventional globe,,,,,ensure the resistors
are mounted in a position which will not get effected by the heat which is produced from the load resistors as
load resistors do get extremely hot when in operation.
